Am I ever glad the weekend is nearly here. I have been ramping up my training in preparation for my figure show this November. I hurt like someone beat me with a bat, everywhere. It’s fun, let me tell you. I’m not going after it really hard for another 2-3 weeks, but just the transition from bodyweight intervals and sandbag training is enough switching it up to send my muscles into total shock. It’s just a whole, nutha, level. Ouch!With the weekend here, I look forward to an off day and an active rest day. At least one of them I plan to do completely nothing at all if I can help it.I haven’t begun cracking down any harder on my diet. It’s pretty good off season so I don’t need to do anything drastic except maybe not eat too many grilled bananas. If you’re in the mood for something sweet, but without the guilt, try this. Let’s grill!

Cinnamon
Instructions:
Preheat grill to medium low heat. Slice bananas in half long ways. Place face down on grate for about 3-4 minutes and then skin side down for an additional 3-4 minutes. Nice and warm and caramelized. Better yet, guilt free dessert.If you like almond butter, you can top with a a bit for an even tastier treat.
