turkey burger Happy Veterans Day!  Let us not forget the men and women that served this country and are the very reason many of you are off of work today.  Thank you to those that have served and continue to serve so that we may have our freedom!

1 lb lean ground turkey or lean ground beef
1/2-1 c diced fresh pineapple
1/4 c diced red onion
1/4 c coconut aminos
1/2 tsp sea salt
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
Combine ground turkey with all other ingredients.  One pound will yield roughly 4 good-sized patties.  Grill and serve on a whole grain bun or a bed of spinach for a healthy salad.
