Yes, I did it again.. caught playing in the tub of protein. I tried out another recipe over the weekend to try and satiate my wicked sweet tooth. I came up with these little healthy treats. Not bad and they pack the chocolately punch that I was looking for.
- 2 scoops Optimum Nutrition Extreme Milk Chocolate Gold Standard Whey
- 2 eggs
- 2 cups almond meal
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 1/4 c applesauce
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 c dark chocolate chips (optional)
- 1/4 c cran raisins (optional)
Combine well and drop mixture on greased or lined baking sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. Let cool and enjoy! Almond butter on top just kind of seals the deal.
