Hello and happy Friday!  Yay, the weekend is here! No time to slack though, grab yourself a quickie and get on with it.  Get some active rest.  Go for a hike, bike ride, walk, run, head to the playground with your kids, whatever.  If you’re enjoying nice weather like I currently am, get outside and do it in the sunshine.

Here’s D’s idea of a “plank assist”.  All 37.5 lbs of him!  He’s not really pulling his weight, I have to say.  I think he’s whooped from doing mountain climbers beside me.

If you’re like me and you’re into bodyweight/interval workouts, it’s nice to add a few pieces of equipment that are versatile.  Like my sandbag, I also love the convenience of my Ugi Ball.  I have a 10 and a 12 lb Ugi and I love them!  It’s like a medicine ball only squishier.  Is that a word?  That’s the best way I can describe it.  It’s easy to travel with and provides just enough weight and versatility to crank my workouts up a notch.

Thanks for all the great info you put on your page. I knew nothing about the UGI bag. Great website about core workout and barefoot training. It makes me want to go shopping. 🙂
