Let’s face it, most of us want to look good and feel good. Not everyone is willing to do what it takes though. Not everyone is educated on how to eat or what supplements to take. There is boundless information available on every kind of lifestyle to follow. It can get really confusing. I’m here to tell you that it doesn’t have to be.
You don’t need a prescription pill or a fancy gym membership. You only need to find what works for you. By this I mean a plan that you will follow. One where you are not hungry, exhausted and run down because you are trying to accomplish too much at once. The best plan is one you will follow and stick with. I truly believe once you feel better your inspiration to continue will grow ever stronger. Being healthy can become a habit, like brushing your teeth. Would you go to bed without brushing your teeth? I won’t so why would I skip a day of exercise? It doesn’t have to be much, just a little something every single day. Make it a habit and a priority.
Above all else, you should want to be healthy, look good, feel good and be the best you for no one other than YOU! If your spouse or partner is happy as a result of this then so be in. People change because they want to and not because someone else wants them too. Otherwise, these changes are in vain and one will only revert back to their previous habits because it wasn’t their choice.
Let’s put looks aside for a moment. How do you feel? Do you feel healthy? Do you have boundless energy? Do you sleep well each night? Are you making the best food choices possible?
If you answered no to any of these questions, you should also ask yourself if you are ready for a change. Maybe you’ve gotten comfortable with not taking care of yourself, but the time to change that is now!
